1. The first of the "firsts' was a trip to the Denver Aquarium. Ellie completely enjoyed the aquarium. She probably said the word "fishy" 1000 times while we were in there. The Aquarium was pretty cool - and we were really enjoyed it. Here is a pic of Mom and E outside the Aquarium.
The second of the "firsts" is by far the most exciting. After (2) long years of waiting... we were finally able to get E's hair into pigtails. She was very excited. She refers to them as her "prettys". The pigtails still look fairly ridiculous as they are reallly small, and she really doesn't have much hair.
The third of the "firsts" is a result of the second one. She now wants to go look in the "mira" all the time at her "prettys". So her third "first" is the new word of "mira". How funny. She kept asking Tom to go look in the "mira" and he had no idea what she was saying. When I came downstairs she was on the verge of a temper tantrum and asked me to go look in the "mira". I understood what she wanted, and the temper tantrum was avoided. Tom was very thankful, as it was driving him crazy that he had no idea of what she was saying.
