Swimming Lessons

Over the summer, we frequented our local outdoor pool several times. It quickly became apparent that someone who doesn't know how to swim, has NO FEAR of the water. So I immediately enrolled Tom in lessons....

No just kidding about that, we enrolled Ellie in lessons. We had to wait until she turned 3 to take the first class, so we signed her up as soon as we could.

This is Ellie's first swimming lesson without the presence of one of her parents in the pool with her. She quickly adjusted, and LOVED playing with the other kids in the lesson. I can totally see Ellie as either the class clown / goof off or the flirt when she grows up. She completely flirted with her teacher the entire session.

The last picture, with the googles was her final lesson. She insisted on wearing the goggles the entire lesson, although I am pretty sure they were filled with water the entire time.
