Why I Love My Job - Reason #3

I am one of those annoying people that can't sit still most of the time. I think that it would drive me absolutely crazy to work in an environment where I had to sit at a desk all day and enter my TPS reports. Our fax machine wouldn't stand a chance against me.

As mentioned in Reason #2, I get to get out of the office a lot. Some of my site visits are not as glamorous as Estes Park, and can involve me making notes such as, "bullet proof shielding on light fixtures", or "vandal resistant". But, I am getting out of the office none the less. I don't have to sit at a desk all day. In fact, there are typically more days during the week that I am not in the office then when I am.

The best part about this? I get to be picky. I don't have to go do a survey outdoors if it is snowing and cold - I can postpone it to the next day. I get to take advantage of the nice weather in Colorado and plan my days accordingly.
